What do they do? Police officers jobs are important. Inside the police station their is going to be an officer sitting behind a desk. When someone breaks the law the police come and take them to jail. Some officers drive motorcycles to get to emergencies and to stop people when they are driving too fast. Police officers stop people when they drive to fast and give them a ticket.

What do they need? Police need many things. Some police officers ride horses to see if people are making trouble. Some officers take dogs and they take the dog if people need help. All the police have Tasers and guns to kill the bad guys.

How do they help our communities? Police officers help our communities. Officers keep us safe from bad guys. A police officer helps people when they have accidents. When they get hurt the police comes and helps them. Some girl officers help people when they need help and they come and help them. Policemen help people if they need help and some people are just pretending that they need help.

Interesting Facts Police officers are interesting. Police officers get help from a radio that calls the other police officers and they come help. Police report to the police station and they start too work and when people need help they come help. Some polices are good and some are bad.
