THAMES VALLEY POLICE Thames Valley Police, formerly known as Thames Valley Constabulary, is the territorial police force responsible for policing the Thames Valley area covered by the ceremonial counties of Berkshire, Buckinghamshire and Oxfordsh ire. It is one of the largest territorial police forces in England and the largest non- metropolitan one, covering 2200 square miles (5,700 km²) and a population of 2,180,200 people.

QUALIFICATIONS To become a police officer you do not need any formal qualifications. However, the things they look for most are common sense, life experience, people skills, customer service skills, ability to work under stress, ability to deal with conflict.
