Quickly the lion ran to catch the prey. A word that describes an action.

The black and white monkey hung down the old tree. A word that describes a noun a pronoun.

The turtle walked slowly to the paced creek. A word that modifies a verb

The seal is playing with his favorite ball. A word that modifies a verb or adjective

The frog had fallen asleep so he woke back up. A word that replaces a noun or pronoun

The snake came from inside the teachers desk and stole her apple. A word that connects nouns, pronouns, and other phrases.

The boy put the mouse with the cat but, they became friends. Connect words phrases and sentences in a sentence.

Awesome! There is a duck in our bathtub. It’s a word added to a sentence to convey emotion
