 By using computerized patient records it reduces the risk of creating errors, a doctor will be able to take care of more patients at a time, more information can be stored and the doctors have better access of the information ( over 120 different locations other than the hospital)

 Patient monitoring is a system that allows the doctors to be able to monitor the actions of a patient, providing a 24 hour service.  Patients are fitted with sensors connected to a computer that will record vital signs.

 MRI machines scan the body using very large magnets, it scans a small area at a time and sends the image ( slice) to a MRI computer.  MRI images are excellent for showing abnormaltiesn of the brain such as storks, tumors, and could also be used to detect disease in the neck and spine.

 The CAT scan machine is basically a x-ray tube that rotates in a circle around the patient, its takes as much as 30 pictures in a few seconds as it rotates.  3 dimensional images are made by the axial images.

TTelemedicine uses computers and the internet. IIt is for patient in rural areas that have difficulties obtaining proper healthcare. PPatients can visit doctors online and doctors can treat patient at a distance.
