Club Development Programme – To work in partnership to improve boxing by developing quality clubs in Ulster – Support services based on needs of Ulster clubs – Club Audit & Ulster Club Development Plan

Ulster Club Development Plan 69% of clubs want Sports Development support 65% of clubs Club Management support 83% of clubs are interested in a Boxing specific Clubmark Scheme Regular Consultation and Support from IABA, based around need A planned, structured and timely Development Programme for clubs

Workshop 1 Funding – Getting your club ready Aim: At the end of the workshop you will have a better understanding of where your club is in terms of meeting the basic funding requirements

Basic requirements Constitution & Club Management Child Protection & Equity Financial Procedures Security of Tenure – leases, etc

Constitution & Club Management Properly constituted organisation, which does not discriminate on the grounds of age, gender, disability, race and ethnicity, religious belief, political opinion, marital status, having dependants or sexual orientation, and is not for profit Affiliated to an AIBA recognised governing body for boxing Good governance structures e.g Committee
