One way CRWM carries out its vision is through the promotion of Christian education globally

In Nigeria, missionaries are helping teachers explore what it means to teach in a Christian school

These teachers are eager for training in the area of Biblical integration in their schools

One person commented on the need for a new focus on education in Nigeria: “Education not in terms of a child to learn math or learn history but to use our institutions to truly form minds and raise leaders, men and women of character filled with passion and love…You are helping teachers in West Africa find this lost path...”

In other parts of West Africa, CRWM is developing a plan for Christian teacher education, in collaboration with the Kuyers Institute of Calvin College

In Asia, missionaries coach teachers to help their students understand and apply a Biblical perspective

In Nicaragua, the Nehemiah Center has implemented a program of teacher training for Christian schools throughout the country

In the last year, more than 5,000 teachers have participated in these training events

One principal noted how teachers have benefited: “The teachers have been encouraged to try new methods in the classroom; they are happier and integrating the Bible more into each area of the curriculum.”

In North America, CRWM continues to facilitate and encourage the development of partnerships between Christian schools in NA and in other countries for mutual learning

CRWM also supports 50 CRCNA members who teach in Christian schools worldwide

Through these and other programs, CRWM promotes Christian Education globally
