 Augustus was born in BC  Augustus died in  Augustus was already an adult when Julius Caeser adopted him.  Augustus lived a long live and served Rome well.  Augustus built an alter to show peace and that fighting is over.

 Augustus was considered emperor he had a military dictatorship.  Augustus reign initiated an era of relitive peace.

 He was serious, studious, and ambitious.  His father died when he was a child he was brought up by his mother and she was later remarried.  He was born in Thurius in Rome on September 23, 63 BC.  He had 2 older siblings and was a very wealthy family.

 Date of death:  He died of age.  He died in Rome by the capital.  He was buried in mausoleum.
