Bellringer: September 10, 2014 Write in complete sentences Do you agree that the burning of the American flag should be protected by the U.S. constitution? Explain your answer.

Can taking ballet lessons benefit football players? S- Taking ballet as a form of cross-training may improve a football player’s performance. L- According to the article, “What Ballet Does for Football,” both activities use the same muscle groups. The author writes, “Similar skills are required and even some of the same injuries are common.” A- The article continues to explain the similar skills: flexibility, speed and agility, strength, balance, mental focus, and endurance. M- It would actually be a great idea for a football player to take a ballet class when he wants to improve his performance on the field.
