Welcome to Back to School Night Ms. Eileen Rakowski Honors Physics/AP Physics

A Little Bit About Me. Graduate of Rutgers College of Engineering. Worked as a Civil Engineer for seven years. Alternate Route to gain teacher’s licence. Masters in Educational Technology from Ramapo College. Participant in numerous workshops in physics education. Teaching Math and Science since Married with two children, Elizabeth (10) and Mary (8).

Physics Grading Policy. Homework/Class work % Lab work/reports – 15-25% Tests and Quizzes 50-60%

Late and Make-up Work Major assignments will be accepted late, at teacher’s discretion, with a penalty. Daily assignments will not be accepted late (except in the case of absences). For scheduled absences, assignments should be handed in before due date (field trips, college visits, sports, debate, DECA)

Extra Help I am available during lunch and daily 2:45-3:15. National Honors Society offers free tutoring. Speak with a guidance councilor.
