Homework Policy Homework is assigned every Monday and collected on Fridays. This helps busy families. Every thing is worth 10 points. Monday late work may be turned in for 7/10 points. I print out the homework assignments and the students paste it in their planners every Monday morning. If your child is ill, they have extra time to catch up homework and classwork. No work accepted later than Monday morning, unless the student’s absence is excused.
Helping Your Child Succeed Remember, homework is practice. If your child does not understand a concept, send a note to school, or an , so that I can help them the following day.

Research is a big part of what we will be doing in 5 th grade. Groups will work together to do research and create many project and reports.
Literacy Work Stations Students rotate to eight boxes over the course of two weeks. Help Wanted!
