WELCOME TO THE MEDIA CENTER WE LOVE READING!

LIBRARY RULES Make sure your hands are clean before you read your book. If you want to mark your place in a book, use a bookmark. When you carry your book back to school, place it in a plastic bag to keep it clean and dry. If you tear your book, tell the librarian because she can fix it with special tape.

How to choose a book Read the first few pages of the book. Are the words too easy for you. Are the words too hard for you. Are the words just right for you. Do you think that you want to read more of the book?

How to find a book Do you have an author whose books you really like? Is there a subject that you want to learn about? What do you want to book to do for you? Do you want it to entertain you or teach you?

Returning books

Read when you are on vacation Books will add to your fun.

When should you read? Read to your pets. Read to your friends; Read to your parents. Read to yourself.
