GENERAL DESCRIPTION Egypt is a very big country. It is in north Africa. The capital city of Egypt is Cairo. Egypt is a very beautiful country. In Egypt there are a lot pyramids. The weather in Egypt is hot and dry. In Egypt there are a lot of deserts. The population in Egypt is inhabitants.

THE FLAG

Language The language in Egypt is Egyptian Arabic, but there are many varieties of Arabic. A long time before Egyptians write hieroglyphic on monuments and sheets if papyrus.

SPORTS The sport in Egypt is soccer; other popular sports in Egypt are basketball, handball, squash and tennis.

POPULAR INSTRUMENTS The ney and the oud are very popular instruments in Egypt, as 4000BC egyptians were playing harps and flutes.

FESTIVALS Egypt is famous for its many festivals and religious carnivals. Ramadan is a popular festival in Egypt.

RIVERS One popular river in Egypt is Nile. It’s the longest river in the world.

PYRAMIDS The pyramids are very popular monuments in Egypt. Famous works are the pyramids of Cheops, Kefren and Menkaure, built the Gizah plateau near Cairo. 138 pyramids deficit in Egypt.
