Pre-AP Algebra 2 ◦ To learn algebraic concepts and the relationships among them to better understand the structure of algebra. ◦ To study functions and equations, and to understand their central relationship to all mathematics. ◦ To learn how equations and functions are algebraic tools that can be used to represent and solve problems related to other fields, such as in geometry, physics, chemistry, and biology. ◦ To pass the Math TSI!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
Dual Credit Precalculus ◦ Same as in Algebra 2, but multiplied by 10 ◦ To earn college and high school math credit ◦ To support other subjects, such as chemistry, physics, and biology ◦ To be ready for calculus ◦ To have the Dual Credit Physics and Dual Credit Chemistry pre-requisite
Classwork/Homework: 50% ◦ This may include online homework, paper homework, Edmodo question, daily assignments, bell ringer, journal, binder check, and small group projects. Exams/Quizzes/Projects: 40% ◦ This may include Mid Six Week exams, quizzes, individual and group projects, and presentations. Six Weeks Exam: 10% ◦ Six Weeks Final Exam, district assessment, and/or TSI exam score.
