Tivoli Software © 2009 IBM Corporation 12 Send Independent Status Changes in Mobile Work Manager  Provides the ability to update a work order’s status in core Maximo while retaining the Work record on the mobile device to continue working on it.  Currently, if the user sends the work order and its status change, the work order will be removed from the device.  The problem is that the user really only wants to ‘send’ the status change, not the whole work order. They want to send a status change of ‘INPRG’ to tell core Maximo that they have started working on this work order, but they do not want to send the whole work order because they will still have actuals to report.  The clients will also want the ability to choose which statuses apply.
