PHASE Changes and States of Matter example of PHYSICAL properties

Phase Change Phase Change is the change of an object from one state of matter into another. Phase Change occurs when there is a gain or loss of energy. Sometimes you need a lot of energy for a phase change.

Temperature Temperature is a measure of the speed of moving particles. High Temperature = Fast Movement = High Energy Low Temperature = Slow Movement = Low Energy

Heating curve of water- endothermic (heat absorbed)
