The “Game of Life” Psalm 1

LIFE Some will play the game of life wisely as they were created to play. Others will play the game of life foolishly, trying to cheat.

“Game” Directions: Psalm 1 Blessed is the man who does not walk in the counsel of the wicked or stand in the way of sinners or sit in the seat of mockers. But his delight is in the law of the LORD, and on his law he meditates day and night. He is like a tree planted by streams of water, which yields its fruit in season and whose leaf does not wither. Whatever he does prospers. Not so the wicked! They are like chaff that the wind blows away. Therefore the wicked will not stand in the judgment, nor sinners in the assembly of the righteous. For the LORD watches over the way of the righteous, but the way of the wicked will perish.

Be Aware… 1. Not everyone agrees that these are the directions for the game. Ps 14:1 The fool says in his heart, "There is no God.“ They are corrupt, their deeds are vile; there is no one who does good.

Be A Player Not A Spectator 1. Thrive in the LIFE of God. But his delight is in the law of the LORD, and on his law he meditates day and night.

Be A Player Not A Spectator 2. The Law tells you how to play the game. He is like a tree planted by streams of water, which yields its fruit in season and whose leaf does not wither. Whatever he does prospers.

Be A Player Not A Spectator 3. God is your spiritual Father and player in your life. For the LORD watches over the way of the righteous, but the way of the wicked will perish.

The Pseudo Game of Life The Wicked play a deadly game in which everyone is a loser. Not so the wicked! They are like chaff that the wind blows away. Therefore the wicked will not stand in the judgment, nor sinners in the assembly of the righteous.
