LinkedIn Tagging 1.Go to the Contacts tab in your LinkedIn account, then make sure your viewing the Connections tab as well 2.Begin by scrolling through your connections and placing a check mark by “like” or “similar” connections. Continue through all of your contacts looking for individuals in the same group 3.Once you’ve been through your whole network and checked all connections that apply to a given group, then you’ll be ready to create a custom tag which represents those connections Hint Begin by tagging the largest group in your network. LinkedIn Mapping 1Go to LinkedIn Maps at. Login to your LinkedIn account when prompted 2Grant InMaps access to your LinkedIn account. Within minutes InMaps will create a custom color map of your LI network 3Hover over the various colors in your map. These colors represent individual connections in a group. You decide how they know each other and what the common connection is between them Your InMap is an interactive visual representation of your professional universe, based on the relationships between your connections.

LinkedIn Mapping 4.InMaps provides a legend in the lower left hand corner. Here you label the groups according to your preference and interpretation 5.When you click on an individual dot/connection in your map, InMaps shows the connections for that person and similar connections in your network 4 5 The visual representation will help to uncover common groups and affiliations which you may not have known existed previously
