Sheep By: Madison, Klayton, & Dacian

Domara  Color: black, white, tan and red.  Size: tall in shoulders & it’s body is long and oval.  Distinguishing Features: Their legs are long but strong, and hooves are small.  Origin: Eastern-Asia and Egypt  Specialties of the breed: The ewes produce a lot of milk, enough for two lambs.  Facts: 1.The Domara can survive in harsh environments. 2. They have a high level of immunity.

Dorset  Color: White and tan.  Size: Dorset ewes weight between and Dorset rams weigh between  Distinguishing Features:  Origin: The origin is unknown.  Specialties of the breed: The Dorset is one of the only breeds that breed out of season.  Temperament: The Dorset has a gentle temperament.  Facts:1. This breed is the number 1 white-faced sheep in the U.S. 2. They work well in commercial situations.

Hampshire  Color: White and black.  Size: Weigh between  Distinguishing Features: a large open face with mild disposition. Face is dark in color.  Origin: Southern England in 1829  Specialties of the breed: Rare breed  Temperament: Friendly and intelligent  Facts: 1. Mature ewes yield on average 6 to 10 lbs. 2. The fleece length is 2 to 3.5 inches long.
