Extraction Protocol Step by step procedure that you will follow to extract the DNA from raw wheat germ Step by step procedure that you will follow to extract the DNA from raw wheat germ Make sure the font is big enough for viewers to see Make sure the font is big enough for viewers to see Use more than one page if your protocol is long Use more than one page if your protocol is long

Extraction Protocol 1. Weigh out 1.5 g of raw Wheat Germ and place in test tube 2. Add enough warm water to cover and dissolve the wheat germ 3. Add 5ml of liquid detergent to test tube 4. Add 3g of meat tenderizer to test tube 5. Add a small amount of baking soda solution to the test tube 6. Add 1g of salt to test tube

Extraction Protocol 1. Pour 10ml of ice cold ethanol into the test tube. 2. Let the test tube stand for a few minutes to allow the DNA to precipitate from solution. 3. DNA will form as a white, cottony substance in the solution. 4. Collect the DNA material by spooling it up with the wooden splint. 5. Let the DNA dry on a paper towel.

What are the Results of the DNA Extraction?
