MEDIA GROUPS Traditional Broadcast—TV, Radio, Video, Print Oral Communication—Story Telling Social Media—Facebook, Twitter Smart Phone Technology

MEDIA 1-Year Outcomes Formation of a Global Media Roundtable of 8-10 representatives to further develop and refine the 7-year Transform World 2020 Media Strategy. This will begin early 2013.

MEDIA 1-Year Outcomes Identifying existing media and establishing a strategy for facilitating their use on an international scale. This will allow the body of Christ to more effectively steward its resources by focusing on new needs rather than duplicating efforts.

MEDIA 1-Year Outcomes Creation of a web-based platform that would serve as an access point for Best Media Practices to be shared and accessed by all groups

MEDIA 7-Year Outcomes Development of Media Sphere Alliances between all Challenges: Ideological, Family, Orphan, Poverty, Human Rights, Christ’s Missional, Celebration. Serve as a media resource to all Challenges. Within 18 months have these alliances established.

MEDIA 7-Year Outcomes Encourage the church to embrace global smart phone trends, social networking, Facebook, Twitter, and other new and emerging technology.

MEDIA 7-Year Outcomes Development of relationships both personal and organizational among media professions that will have long-lasting and far-reaching impact for the Global Challenges.

MEDIA 7-Year Outcomes Developing strategies to identify and/or establish formal and informal networks in all regions of the world to utilize media through local Christian and secular channels.

MEDIA 7-Year Outcomes Develop strategies for training and equipping media makers around the world.

MEDIA 7-Year Outcomes Develop strategies to inform all Challenges as to the power and impact of media that can change perceptions from negative to positive.

MEDIA 7-Year Outcomes Develop strategies to mobilize media involvement and contributions with events like National Prayer Initiatives and specialized ministry events.
