SOFT SKILLS Soft skills is a term relating to a person's emotional intelligence, personality traits, social graces, communication, language, personal habits, friendliness, and optimism that define relationships with other people. Soft skills complement hard skills, which are the occupational requirements of a job and many other activities.

JOB RELATED SKILLS OR HARD SKILLS Hard skills are any skills relating to a specific task or situation. These skills are easily measurable unlike Soft skills which are related to one's personality.

TRANSFERABLE SKILLS Transferable skills are the skills that can transfer from one job to another. Transferable skills include communication, team work, problem solving and intellectual skills. One needs to identify their transferable skills and use them in a resume or during an interview.
