Good Morning Class!

This presentation was brought to you by Mike Carlin, Andrew Smith and James Walker Texas Ranger.

any member of a class of words that function as modifiers of Verbs or clauses, and in some languages, as Latin and English, as modifiers of adjectives, other adverbs, or adverbial phrases.

Mike anxiously waited for his beef burrito to be done. Andrew’s rookie paintball team surprisingly won the tournament.

James Walker Texas Ranger daringly took on the bandits in Montreal with his fellow Canadian ax-men.

An adverb is a part of speech that modifies the verb in the sentence. Most times adverbs are formed by taking adjectives and putting the suffix –ly at the end of them. Adverbs can be before a subject, in the middle of a subject and verb, or after the verb in the sentence. Adverbs will ask questions like when, where, how, how often, or how much.
