A little bit about Henry Hudson  Henry Hudson was an English explorer and navigator who explored parts of the Arctic Ocean and North America. The Hudson River, Hudson Strait, and Hudson Bay are named for Hudson.

What was the lifespan of Henry Hudson?  Henry Hudson was born in England, in  He died in June 12,1611.  Henry Hudson died because  Henry Hudson died because He was set adrift by his mountaineering crew.   Most people believe that he died of unknown causes.

For what country did Henry Hudson sail for?  Henry Hudson sailed for India.

How many voyages did Henry Hudson make?  Henry Hudson made 4 voyages.

Why did Henry Hudson on go is voyage's?   After several voyages on behalf of English merchants to explore a prospective Northeast Passage to India. Hudson explored the region around modern New York City while looking for a western route to Asia.
