Title IC, Migrant Program Department of Education

Title IC Migrant Program Request As there are many areas in Oregon that may have a Title III program, but not a Title IC program, my request is if your area has new students moving in that may be migrant, please contact your local program coordinator. If it’s a non-project area, please contact Olivia González-Angelino at

Title IC Migrant Program Request The basic definition of the requirements for qualifying for the migrant program is the student or their families must work in agriculture or fishing and moved across district lines within the last three years.

Some of the Benefits of the Migrant Program Automatically on Free and Reduced Lunch Program Accident Insurance Summer School Programs Partial cost of SAT and AP tests are covered High School Summer Leadership Institute at OSU GED through HEP Program and College support through CAMP program Services for students from age 3-21, (or until they graduate)

Students Returning to México Students returning to Mexico need our help to enter schools there by using the following: Binational Transfer Document: This two page document will allow students, (grades K-9), 1)to enter at their grade level, 2) to start school right away and 3) to attend school closest to them. Families should consider getting dual citizenship.

Students Returning to México Dual citizenship provides free education and access to health services. Apostille: Students (grades 10-12) will need an Apostille. Their transcripts need to have a notary stamp and then have the Secretary of State in Salem get an Apostille. The cost is $10 and the address is 255 Capitol St. NE, Salem, OR
