Bible Memory Verse Test every Friday Bible Marking Class once a week—Must have a Bible they can write in. Assignments are due the next day unless otherwise stated. Student Led—On Thursdays, students lead out in Bible class. Every student will have at least one opportunity to lead out, maybe two.

Math Multiplication tables (extremely important!!) Check assignment sheet for daily assignments Miss 2 REDO!!! Students are allowed one opportunity to fix mistakes on any given assignment. (Does not apply to quizzes, tests, and projects)

Reading Book Reports due the last Friday of September, October, November, January, February, April Book Reports must be from a chapter book with a minimum of 150 pages. Book Report book must be approved by teacher Summary/Response Journals are assigned to each reading assignment

Reading Plus 3 assignments each of Read Around, See Reader, and I Balance are expected to be completed each week. Students are expected to complete these assignments at home, if they have not been able to complete them in class. Students have until Sunday evening to complete. Grades from Reading Plus will be recorded on Monday of each week. Headphones are needed in the classroom when working on any programs which include Reading Plus, Khan Academy, etc.

Word Study Contracts Vocabulary – stated at the bottom of weekly assignment sheets. Due on Friday of each week. Choose activities totaling 50 points. Word Study Contracts can be found on the class page on the school website. Tampaadventistacademy.org

Spelling Spelling Pre Test on Tuesday Spelling Post Test on Friday over ONLY words missed on Tuesday Tic Tac Toe (Spelling words) due on Friday— total of 4 activities Must do center activity in middle of tic tac toe, may choose other 3 activities (total of 4)

Writing Writing projects on the computer (WPP) grade recorded Writing projects in writing folders WRAP-writing test given in March Grammar

Social Studies Vocabulary-student will place in folder after each lesson given. Projects-please watch assignment sheets closely for projects. Study Guides-may come in many different forms before tests. For example; vocabulary or questions at the end of the chapter, a handout given by the teacher, etc. Daily assignments are on the assignment sheet

Science LABS/Projects- In class labs/projects or at home labs/projects are expected to be turned in by the due date stated on the assignment sheet Daily assignments will be stated on the assignment sheet STEM SCIENCE<TECHNOLOGY<ENGINEERING<MATH EMATICS

General Information Assignments are due the next day unless otherwise stated. Field Trips are a privilege not a right. Academics and Behavior is taken under consideration when determining if a student is eligible to participate in a field trip. Honor Roll & Principal’s List. Academics, Attendance, and Citizenship are viewed when deciding on a student’s eligibility for Honor Roll or Principal’s List. Assignment sheet on their desk, website, homework folder Renweb progress report every Sunday from previous week. Renweb will generate a notification for any grade that is 70% or lower.
