The castle is important because it holds the queen & princess. It is an important place to the characters because Jenna’s the princess and Septimus is her brother and has to share. It looks like a huge building that is white, black, grey, and brown. There’s a huge courtyard. It has a gate and a lot of guard’s.

This book is about Septimus finding Jenna because Simon took her. The beginning of the book is about Septimus helping Marcia with the Shadow Safe and Simon riding in to town and stealing Jenna. The middle is about Jenna in Simon’s lab-like place and she is trying to escape and finally does. Then she takes Simon’s horse and rides to the port. The end is about Septimus meeting Jenna and going back to the castle and going to Aunt Zeldas. Finally the dragon boat blows up from Simon’s ThunderFlash. The authors message is to not trust someone even if you know them. The first problem was Jenna disappearing. Septimus fought hard to bring her back. The last problem is the dragon boat getting hit by ThunderFlashes. Septimus’s and Jenna’s soulution is to bring her back to Jannits Dock to get repaired. I like the book because it has a lot of magic & charms. I also like the book because it has lot’s of adventure & fantasy. Those are my favorite genre’s too.
