What is KCLSU? KCLSU is led by you KCLSU is independent to the college! KCLSUs ultimate ambition is for every student to have a great experience at Kings! We do this by giving you the voice, support and opportunities to develop skills, have fun and achieve change

Experience - Student Voice KCLSU is led by you! four elected full-time Student Officers 30 elected student on Student Council 600 elected Student Reps

Experience - Student Voice Making positive change through : Student Officer Agenda Priority Campaigns Seats on all College Committees and Working Groups Making sure the College is listening to the Student Voice.

Experience - Sports We currently have over 50 sports groups, many of which compete in regional, national, even international competitions. Our Get Active programme provides you with opportunities to play sport at any level, from beginner to competitive across London. We have supported and funded 12 elite athletes, including potential Olympics and Paralympic prospects!

Experience - Activities We currently have over 200 activity groups covering faith, media, politics, arts and general hobbies We also run successful One World projects and Interfaith Week that celebrate the diversity in the student body and encourage the coming together of cultures We have over 10,000 memberships across our activity groups!

Experience - Venues KCLSU is host to Guys Bar, The Waterfront and Tutus, three of the best student venues in London. Our big nights include the ever popular Truffle Shuffle, full of cheesy 80s tunes and legwarmer-clad revellers, and previous live acts include Vampire Weekend, Metronomy and Bruno Mars. Last year, 12,569 burgers were sold in the Waterfront and Guys Bar and 11,500 tickets were sold through kclsutickets.com!

Experience - Kinetic Fitness Club Kinetic Fitness Club is a competitive, modern gym for students and staff of Kings located at the Waterloo campus. Kinetic Fitness Club also offers personal training and free classes to members. Over 3,600 memberships were started last year by students and staff!

Support - Advice The KCLSU Advice Service is impartial, free and confidential. We provide advice and support your time at Kings – everyone can use the service We offer advice on College processes and regulations and the impact this could have on you We complement the Support Services of the College and work closely with them In the academic year 2010/11 the service handled 584 individual student cases! kclsu.org/advice

Freshers Fair 2012 The Freshers Fair is the students chance to meet KCLSU, join a sports club and activity group, meet Kings departments or simply to grab some freebies from external visitors The Freshers Fair is the biggest and most important event KCLSU run over the course of the year. Freshers Fair 2012 will be held on 20 and 21 September at The Barbican, Exhibition Hall 2. Over 10,000 students were at our Freshers Fair last year- and we think this one will be even bigger!
