Lab Activity 1. Prepare edentulous model Use marker or pencil to mark around area where denture will fit Sprinkle model with baby powder 2. Soften a half sheet of baseplate wax with alcohol torch Using gloved fingers press wax onto form 3. Trim excess wax with a lab knife or scalpel 1/6 to ¼ inch around mucobuccal fold area
