Newfoundland Aqua Products Inc. (N.A.P.I.) is a privately owned Canadian company founded in Our company is located in Ramea, on Newfoundland's South West Coast. They harvest and process marine plants for national and international markets. N.A.P.I. is committed to long-term sustainable development of its resources. We offer our customers the highest quality products possible.

Newfoundland Aqua Products Inc. harvests and processes various species of seaweed or kelp for use as nutritional supplements and food. They own and operate the first food grade, certified organic, marine plant processing facility in the province. These products are completely natural with no additives and are tested for quality.

In the short term, the guys plan to employ ten people all year round, not just seasonally. Down the road they want to expand their operations to other areas of the province. This is a good source of jobs for people with little employment in there communities.

They're the only certified organic kelp harvesting and processing company in Canada. Most companies do one or the other, seldom both. But doing it all means better quality control. When it comes to vitamins, wild harvested seaweed is far superior to the stuff you find washed up on the beach. They also get more jobs and time on the job because of more work to do.
