2006 A pilot project with the Ville de Québec is instigated for the collection of compostable materials 2006 The Centre becomes an active member of the Canada Green Building Council and the U.S. Green Building Council 2007 The Centre offers a choice of menus featuring local and organic products 2007 The Québec Convention Centre launches a new proposal for the hosting of eco-friendly events (zero waste and carbon neutral) 2007 The Centre undergoes LEED certification for existing building.
