TARGISOL project optimization of the release properties of ISOL targets THERMAL NEUTRON DEPTH PROFILING NPI Rez - Thermal Neutron Depth Profiling (TNDP). study of diffusion of some light elements in selected ISOL targets Diffusion coefficient D can be deduced from the broadening of the TNDP profiles D = D 0 e -e/kT D 0 – pre-exponential constant  – activation energy k – Boltzman constant T – temperature (in 0 K) Example of the TNDP analysis: 350 keV 10 B implanted into BaF 2 annealed 60 min at C. The analysis of the broadening of the boron profiles gives the diffusion coefficient D = 2 x cm 2.s
