Passing The Peace
Away In A Manger
Away in a manger No crib for a bed
The little Lord Jesus Lay down His sweet head
The stars in the sky Looked down where He lay
The little Lord Jesus Asleep on the hay
The cattle are lowing the baby awake;
But little Lord Jesus, no crying He makes.
I love Thee, Lord Jesus!
Look down from the sky;
And stay by my cradle Till morning is nigh
Be near me, Lord Jesus! I ask Thee to stay
Close by me forever, And love me I pray.
Bless all the dear children in Thy tender care;
And fit us for heaven, to live with Thee There.
O Come All Ye Faithful
O come, all ye faithful, joyful and triumphant; O come ye, o come ye to Bethlehem!
Come and behold Him, born the King of angels!
O come, let us adore Him, O come, let us adore Him; Christ the Lord!
Sing Choirs of angels, Sing in exultation, O sing,
all ye bright hosts of heav’n above all ye bright hosts of heav’n above! Glory to God, all glory in the highest!
O come, let us adore Him, O come, let us adore Him; Christ the Lord!
Yes, Lord we greet Thee, born this happy morning Yes, Lord we greet Thee, born this happy morning. Jesus, to Thee be all glory giv’n.
Word of the Father, now in flesh appearing!
O come, let us adore Him, O come, let us adore Him; Christ the Lord!
O come, let us adore Him, O come, let us adore Him; Christ the Lord!
Scripture Luke 1: 26-38 1 Thessalonians 5: 16-24 Isaiah 61: 1-4, 8-11 Scripture Taken from the Holy Bible Today’s New International Version
Luke 1: 26-38 The Birth of Jesus Foretold 26 In the sixth month of Elizabeth’s pregnancy, God sent the angel Gabriel to Nazareth, a town in Galilee, 27to a virgin pledged to be married to a man named Joseph, a descendant of David. The virgin’s name was Mary. 28The angel went to her and said, “Greetings, you who are highly favored! The Lord is with you.”
Luke 1: 26-38 The Birth of Jesus Foretold 29Mary was greatly troubled at his words and wondered what kind of greeting this might be. 30But the angel said to her, “Do not be afraid, Mary, you have found favor with God. 31You will conceive and give birth to a son, and you are to call him Jesus. 32He will be great and will be called the Son of the Most High. The Lord God will give him the throne of his father David, 33and he will reign over the house of Jacob forever; his kingdom will never end.” 34“How will this be,” Mary asked the angel, “since I am a virgin?”
Luke 1: 26-38 The Birth of Jesus Foretold 35The angel answered, “The Holy Spirit will come on you, and the power of the Most High will overshadow you. So the holy one to be born will be called b the Son of God. 36Even Elizabeth your relative is going to have a child in her old age, and she who was said to be unable to conceive is in her sixth month. 37For no word from God will ever fail.” 38“I am the Lord’s servant,” Mary answered. “May it be to me according to your word.” Then the angel left her.

The Lord’s Prayer Our Father, who art in heaven, Hallowed be thy name, Thy Kingdom come, thy will be done, on earth as it is in heaven. Give us this day our daily bread. And forgive us our trespasses, as we forgive those who trespass against us. And lead us not into temptation, But deliver us from evil. For thine is the kingdom, the power and the glory, for ever and ever. Amen
