Parasitism

Parasitism is when an organism lives off of another organism. The organism that lives off of the other is called a parasite, and the organism they live off of is the host.

- A tick on a dog - A mosquito on a human - A wolf killing a fox

When we first found my puppy Bert, she was covered in ticks. There were even ticks in her ears! When I found my dog Butch, he was covered in ticks from head to toe. It took me 2-3 hours to get all the ticks off! My puppy Bert now.
