CHARACTERISTICS Frogs have very good eyesight. Frogs also have amazing sense of hearing. Frogs have very powerful back legs and webbed feet Every different species of frog has his or her own look. They come in many colors, patterns.

HABITAT Inhabits warm, sunny, open, permanent water - lakes, ponds, sloughs, reservoirs, marshes, slow river backwaters, irrigation canals, cattle tanks, and slow creeks. Found in grassland, farmland, prairies, woodland, chaparral, forests, foothills, and desert oases.

Frogs’ Prey Insects, snails, spiders, worms and even small fish have all been known to be part of a frog’s diet and while some bigger frogs had been known to go after something as big as a mouse, there are still those frogs that just stick to insects.

The Frogs’ Life Cycle
