What ishidden in a seed?

A seed is already a plant, an embryo all ready to grow.

 Before a plant produces a seed or releases the seed, it provides a storage place for food for that plant to grow.  Before the seed falls on the ground it already has in it all that it needs to become a plant.

 It also has stored food material to live on until it can put out green leaves and make its own food.  And it usually has a tough outer coat to protect it until it is time to grow.

 When that seed falls off, it has stored food and has a little seed in it with a protective coat, so that if conditions aren't right, they won't grow. But the protective coat will keep the seed viable.

 ‘Unless a seed falls into the ground and dies, it remains alone. But if it dies, it bears a rich harvest.’ (John 12:24).

 But if it dies, it bears a rich harvest.’ (John 12:24).  The death of a seed is necessary to produce a harvest.

 Seeds thrown to the ground would seem doomed to die and rot where they fall. The very opposite is what actually happens.

 Enfolded in earth that is enlivened by moisture and sun’s rays, an amazing rebirth into new life takes place.  The seed breaks out from the dark soil.  It bursts into bud and leaf, dancing its way upwards to the light, until eventually there is blossom and fruit.

 Did you know God has scheduled a big harvest on the earth?  A harvest of people who are called to glorify His Name and live and reign with Him for eternity?

He sent His own seed, His only begotten Son Jesus Christ.

 Did you know Jesus was a seed from God?  But Jesus was even more than that.

 Jesus, the man, had within Him the divine nature- 2 natures perfectly balanced-  He was the Son of Man and the Son of God  He came to the world with the divine nature of God inside of Him and with all the potential of God to reveal God’s power at resurrection.

 But like a seed, in order for Jesus to accomplish God’s purpose to produce a harvest, He had to die.  Jesus was God’s best seed— a perfect seed— sown to redeem God’s family— you and me.

 God didn’t just sowed a seed in the soil of this earth.  He sowed His first and best seed: His only Son Jesus Christ.  The results? The family of God was born and we got eternal life.

 Satan crushed the seed on the ground. He thought that was good for his own purpose to do so, but it was the best thing that could happen to us.  Satan didn’t understand the nature and the power of the seed. Had he known it he wouldn’t have killed Jesus.

 Every time a seed is crushed, there will be multiplication and fruit for the kingdom of God.  This is the Law of Nature & the Law of the Kingdom of God.

 Salvation of the sins for all creatures from all nations  Reconciliation and intimacy with God  New life and hope for all in Christ Jesus  An exciting eternal home and life with God

I will tell the promise that the LORD made to me: "You are my son, because today I have become your father. Ask me for the nations, and every nation on earth will belong to you.” (Psalm 2:7-8)

 When Jesus died, He multiplied what God wanted to do.  Through one seed, millions were given life.  Through one seed, generations have been redeemed.  Through one seed, nations have been changed forever.  Through one seed, God has given man hope.  Through one seed, God got His family back.  And the seed of Jesus is still yielding fruit for God today all around the world. God is sowing hope, redemption, and life.

‘Unless a seed falls into the ground and dies, it remains alone. But if it dies, it bears a rich harvest.’ (John 12:24).

 The seed’s potential starts working when it dies. It starts moving inside the soil. The seed has to move from a higher place to a lower place.  Otherwise it cannot generate the power and the first fruits of the new harvest.

Three days later, Jesus was raised from the ground

 The entire nature prophecies of the resurrection. There is resurrection power in the seed.  Everything in nature speaks of resurrection.

the first fruits Christ the first fruits “But now Christ has been raised from the dead, the first fruits of those who are asleep. For since by a man came death, by a man also came the resurrection of the dead. For as in Adam all die, so also in Christ all will be made alive. But each in his own order: Christ the first fruits, after that those who are Christ's at His coming, then comes the end, when He hands over the kingdom to the God and Father, when He has abolished all rule and all authority and power. For He must reign until He has put all His enemies under His feet.” (1 Corinthians 15:20-26)

 Leviticus 23:9-11  The LORD said to Moses, "Speak to the Israelites and say to them: 'When you enter the land I am going to give you and you reap its harvest, bring to the priest a sheaf of the first grain you harvest. He is to wave the sheaf before the LORD so it will be accepted on your behalf; the priest is to wave it on the day after the Sabbath.

 If there is first fruits, there will be a harvest  The first fruits sprouting is a guarantee from nature that there will be a harvest!  That means: when you see the first fruits you already see the harvest. It’s just a matter of time.

 Jesus dies on Passover and he raises on the Sunday morning.  Mary is weeping about 9 am because Jesus’ body is not in the grave.  The High Priest sends the Levites to the harvest field to collect the first fruits of the new harvest to celebrate the Feast of the Harvest.  They come back from the field with the first fruits of the harvest to wave before Jehovah God.  They wave the first fruits before the Lord to thanks for the harvest that is coming.

 Jesus is the “first fruits” of God’s new harvest  He is the “first fruits” of the resurrection first fruits  After raising from the dead Jesus is talking to Mary who is retaining the first fruits to go.  He said to Mary: Let me go to the Father!  Jesus had to go to the Father to present Himself as the first fruits of the harvest.

 Jesus’ resurrection is the guarantee from God that there will be a harvest!  There will be the resurrection of those who believe in Him as their Savior.  It’s just a matter of time! Hallelujah!

 The Seed died on Friday and became the first fruits on Sunday.  Jesus is the first fruits of resurrection.  We will be the harvest of resurrection.  Jesus unlocked the potential of the seed sowed by God. There will be a harvest for God. He used His best Seed- His Son Jesus Christ.

 A seed is the designated part of a harvest. The seed has all the potential inside of it. But there is no value in it if it doesn’t die.  Your life is a seed filled with all the potential of the resurrection and all the blessings for the kingdom of God. All the potential of God for your life is there inside of you.  If you keep your life as it is, you will not profit anything from it, neither will the kingdom. You will be only one alone seed.  But if you die to your own self, you will become many.  Your life has to be placed on the soil of the kingdom of God to generate the resurrection power in your life.

‘Unless a seed falls into the ground and dies, it remains alone. But if it dies, it bears a rich harvest.’ (John 12:24). ‘Unless a seed falls into the ground and dies, it remains alone. But if it dies, it bears a rich harvest.’ (John 12:24).

 God wants you to be one of his seeds so through you He can produce an abundant harvest.  He has given you a perfect seed which, when allowed to grow to maturity, will bear the same fruit that it bore in the life of Jesus.

 You can sow a seed in faith, and God will move in every area of your life.  He will move in your finances.  He will bless your family.  He will cause your concerns to be resolved.  He will give you hope at midnight.  He will restore your marriage.

 "For he who sows to his flesh will of the flesh reap corruption..." Galatians 6:8  Every successful farmer is aware of this. And as a spiritual farmer, you need to be aware of it as well.  If you sow in the wrong ground, you're dooming yourself to a failed crop. Your money, time and energy will be wasted.  When you sow into the flesh it is like sowing your good seed in hard, dead ground. It will not produce anything-it will have no life.  If your seed is sown into the earth through your flesh, it will "reap corruption  After all the toil, energy and time you put into your sowing, shouldn't you make sure you're planting in the right soil?

 When you release a seed toward God, He will schedule a harvest for you.  Sow in faith, and sow without delay in the right soil of God’s Kingdom.  Your harvest will surely come.
