THE SUN THE SUN IS IN THE CENTER OF OUR SOLAR SYSTEM. THE SUN IS ONE BIG FIERY STAR THAT IS 10,000˚F (6,000˚C) ON THE SURFACE, AND 27,000,000˚F (15,000,000˚C) IN THE CORE.

MERCURY AND VENUS MERCURY AND VENUS ARE THE CLOSEST PLANETS TO THE SUN. MERCURY AND VENUS HAVE NO ATMOSPHERE. THE TEMPERATURE OF THESE PLANETS ARE 850˚F-335˚F (430˚C-170˚C.)

THE EARTH AND MOON THE EARTH IS THE THIRD PLANET FROM THE SUN. EARTH IS THE ONLY PLANET WITH LIFE ON IT IN THIS GALAXY.
