It is easy to see that Big Bear High School is like any other comprehensive high school… Or are we ? We are a Distinguished High School most other high schools are not We are a US News and World Report Silver Medal High School most other high schools are not We are a community nexus most other high schools are not

Parks and Rec department runs several youth programs in and on our facilities most other high schools don’t We are the largest venue for district wide events most other high schools are not We are the destination of every student in the district no other school in the district is

We will be a Destination District Students are First Respect for each and everyone

To be a Destination District and a Distinguished High School… We need to have enough facility space to house our current and growing programs (Fairness and equity issues) We need to have enough room for our students to eat in the cafeteria, several of them currently eat on the floor (Safety and sanitary issues) The cafeteria only holds 225 students

BBHS needs a place where our students can all sit down and eat BBHS needs more facilities to house our sports, drama, and activities BBHS needs more room to use as practice areas for our sports during severe weather BBHS is seen daily by a large percentage of the community

Big Bear High School has always produced excellent students, excellent athletic teams, and excellent student activities and we always will.
