Success Stories of the EU “Culture” and “Creative Europe” programme

Meeting the Odyssey ( ) Coordinator: Teatteri Viirus (Helsinki, FIN) Partners: Teatro della Limonaia (IT), Skorohod (Russia), Scarlattine Teatro (IT), Réseau en scène Languedoc-Roussillon (FR), Regione Lombardia (IT), ProFitArt (CZ), Per Aspera (DE), Opolski (PL), teater NO99 (EE), Malta Council for Culture and the Arts (MT), Cada Die Teatro (IT), Asterions Hus (DK), Theatro Anapoda (GR). Social and artistic sailing theatre project which will combine elements of the Odyssey with contemporary themes relevant to the people living in Europe. Each summer from 2014 to 2017, artists and organizers from different European countries will travel on a ship together, performing main productions and workshops resulting in “instant performances”. Both main productions and instants will build upon stories gathered from workshops that involve local people in the harbour cities. |
