iPad Tips and Tricks (just two) ** locking the iPad screen ~ go to accessibility within settings - general ~ turn on guided access and set a password ~ go back to accessibility and double check triple-click is selected ~ select the desired app and triple-click to start the iPad lock ~ triple-click again to turn off the iPad lock ** creating shortcuts ~ locate the site you want ~ click on the arrow to the left of the URL ~ click "add to home screen" ~ edit name if needed and click "add"

iPad Tips and Tricks (two more) ** creating folders ~ tap and hold on an app until they jiggle ~ drag the app over another icon and release ~ rename the folder if desired ** accessing running apps ~ double click Home button ~ running apps will appear on bar along the bottom ~ tap a running app to switch ~ hold app until they jiggle & hit the minus to “turn off” app ~ press Home button or swipe downwards to remove bar
