Energy Efficiency Standard Statewide EE Standard approved by the ACC in Dec Went into effect in Jan Annual Energy Savings as a % of Retail Sales Est. cumulative energy savings required by 2020 = 6,500,000 MWh Achieved to date (2005 to 2010) = 1,091,000 MWh (17% of the way)

Multifamily Energy Efficiency Program The Multifamily program is a new program introduced in 2011 and is currently in a launch phase. Program debut is expected in April To qualify the community must be in the APS service area, be a multifamily facility of at least 5 units, and to receive water saving measures must have electric water heating. APS is creating a participation list of interested communities.

Why have an EE Program for Multifamily? Large number of APS customers live in multifamily dwellings. Large untapped resource for energy savings. APS needs significant energy savings to meet new state goals.

Multifamily Program Tracks Direct Install for dwellings Common Area retrofits New Construction and major renovation

Dwelling Direct Install Retrofits APS and your property Manager completes a walk through assessment of community. APS provides enough FREE CFL bulbs, and energy efficient showerheads and faucet aerators to retrofit each unit in the community Communities provide component installation with field support from APS.
