Continuing Professional Development (CPD) The RSCs definition:... the responsibility of individuals for the systematic maintenance, improvement and broadening of knowledge and skills to ensure continuing competence as a professional throughout their career

What does it mean in practice? It isn't a fixed process… Its about: Setting yourself objectives for development. Charting your progress towards achieving them. Reflecting on outcomes and results, rather than 'time spent' or 'things done'.
