CETA Tours Presents

About CETA Tours CETA was founded by two foreign language teachers. They have been arranging tours abroad for students since They are based out of Menomonie, WI.

Tour Inclusions Round-trip air transportation from Des Moines on scheduled carrier, including departure and security taxes Land transportation on air-conditioned motor coach, public rail and public transit Multi-bedded accommodations in a hotel Flight schedules and hotel lists will be available in January 2016.

Family Stay Eight night family stay in Saint-Étienne, arranged by Mme Moermond Students will get information about their host families prior to departure.

Meal Inclusions Meals during the family stay are provided by the host families Breakfasts in Paris are included The meals in Paris are eaten as a group either at the hotel.

Supervision on Tour Two teachers will accompnay the group Mme Moermond will lead the tour

Items not Included in the Tour Price Items of a personal nature, such as passport fees and personal spending money Meals, other than indicated Beverages, except at breakfast Luggage Handling Airline baggage fees (if applicable) End of the tour tips bus driver. We recommend one euro, per person for each transfer. Travel insurance

Spending Money We recommend $150 to cover beverages and some snacks. This does not include souvenirs. Most students take $250 -$350 on a trip this length. There will be information about how to get currency while in France at future meetings.

Payment Schedule $500 is due with the application on May 20, Second payment of $1,000 is due October 15, Balance is due January 15, A financial statement will be mailed or ed directly to students and their parents upon receipt of application. Invoices will be mailed or ed directly to students and their parents several weeks before each payment is due.

Cancellation Policy Cancellations made through October 15, 2015 incur a $125 penalty. Cancellations made between October 16, 2015 and January 15, 2016 incur a $500 penalty. Cancellations made January 16, 2016 and up to 31 days prior to departure incur a $500 penalty plus any lost deposits for bus, airfare and accommodations. Cancellations made 30 days or less prior to departure will not receive a refund.

Tour Price Price is based on projected air fare and current departure taxes and is subject to modification. Price is based on the value of the dollar as of April 30, 2015 and is subject to modification. The trip price of $2,439 is based on a minimum of 15 paying participants:

Extensions and Deviations Extensions and deviations may be available on a limited basis. Please fill out the deviation form on the back of your application and CETA will contact you about the price of your deviation before booking it for you. All deviations must be requested at the time of application.

Insurance Trip cancellation/interruption insurance is not included in the tour price. Information about purchasing insurance is available on-line and will be sent to participants with the first financial statement. Travelers who do not have medical insurance need to purchase it for the duration of the tour. CETA Tours highly recommends that travelers purchase trip cancellation/interruption insurance. CETA Tours can answer questions you may have about insurance and purchase it for you over the phone.

Scholarships CETA Tours offers five need-based scholarships in the amount of $500 each to students participating on a CETA Tour. Application packets are available upon request or on-line once a student is signed up for the tour. Application deadline is October 15, Winners will be notified in writing within 45 days of application deadline. Winners can expect the $500 credit to appear on their final invoice.

Future Meetings Once your group is formed, your teacher will hold more meetings to help you prepare for your tour. Your teacher will go through the information found on-line, so attending these meetings will be very important.
