27 College Credits 24 High School Credits The Advanced Diploma Once 24 high school credits & 27 college credits have been earned, the Advanced Diploma is awarded. If a student completes the required number of credits during 4 years of high school, the student should be awarded the diploma on graduation day. The 27 college credits accumulate over the junior and senior year or in some cases a 5th year of high school, depending on what the student needs to complete the diploma.
