1. The Profession of Faith Faith (shahada)  “La ilah illa Allah wa Muhammad rasul Allah,” meaning “There is no God but the one God and Muhammad is His prophet.” Acknowledges that there is no god but God (Allah) and Muhammad is the messenger.

2. Five Daily Prayers Prayer (salat)  Muslims must recite 5 daily prayers Muslims must perform a ritual bathing before prayer (wudu) Prayer (Salat) Muezzin – Person who calls Muslims to the mosque for prayer or Friday services

Paying Zakat Almsgiving (zakat)  a tax is levied on those living above subsistence and the tax is then supposed to be redistributed to the poor Zagat Tax Calculator: Depending on amount of income depends on how much your taxed.
