PATHs Ensuring a Positive Impression Provides professional etiquette tools to help you be successful throughout your college experience and beyond. Exploring the World Provides experiences that will start you thinking about the possibility of studying abroad. Exploring the World: GO! Provides students participating in a Faculty-Led, Reciprocal Exchange, or Affiliated/Approved program while earning academic credit with an opportunity to showcase their study abroad experience. Graduating in Four Years Provides resources to help you graduate in four years, save money, and make more money.

How Do I Participate? Begin by joining the Human Sciences DestinationU community on D2L.

EX: Exploring the World PATH This PATH provides experiences that will start students thinking about the possibility of studying abroad. The PATH experiences encourage students to: Go outside their comfort zone Learn about the different types of study abroad Become familiar with the different cultures represented on campus Interact with people from other ethnic and cultural backgrounds

10 Stars Required for PATH Completion Required Experiences: (6 stars will be accumulated by completing all required experiences) Attend at least two sessions during Study Abroad Day or attend a Study Abroad Information Session sponsored by the Campus Study Abroad Office. Complete an International Experience Plan. Complete an Intercultural Competency Assessment.

10 Stars Required for PATH Completion Additional Experiences: (4 stars will be accumulated by completing a combination of the additional experiences of your choice.) Apply for a passport. Interview a faculty or staff member from another ethnically defined culture. View a film/documentary with an international or cultural (ethnic) dimension. Interview an international student.

10 Stars Required for PATH Completion Additional Experiences (Continued): Attend a cultural event sponsored by the International Student Organization (ISO) or one of the many international student clubs. Interview a student who has participated in an international experience.
