When visiting Brazil you should also visit these places   Iguazu Falls One of the world’s most stunning natural wonders, it has a series of magnificent waterfalls located on the Iguazu River, straddling the border between Brazil and Argentina   Salvador Third largest city in Brazil, this old city is famous for its lively culture and one of the world’s biggest Carnival celebrations.   Recife Nicknamed the “Venice of Brazil” popular tourist destination because of its scenery, historic old town, beaches and vibrant culture.

  Summer runs from December through the first half of March. Hottest months are December and January when temperatures can get well over 104ºF (40ºC). Prices increase and business close just before Christmas. When to visit Summer Winter *Winter months are July, August and September. There is little rainfall and the sunny days are perfect for the beach. Not as popular of a time as summer, so prices are much lower. Best time of year for the surfers to hit the beach as the oceans are at their most turbulent.

When to visit continued Spring During the spring the gardens and mountains are full of color and new growth. This time of year is a horticulturist’s paradise. perfect time to visit places like Botanical Garden, Tijuca Forest and Parque Lage, some of the favorite places of the natives to be in touch with nature. Autumn During April, May, June, there is almost no rain. Prices around town are dropping to attract business and it is easier to find lodging. Also there is less humidity and cooler temperature then in the summer.

 Rio carnival happens every year  When invited to dinner or an event, do not under-dress. It is considered more appropriate to over-dress than to appear too casual in appearance.  Always bring the hostess a small gift of gratitude Cultures

  Christ the Redeemer, the statue of “Cristo Redentor” stands with arms outstretched, gazing serenely out over the city. Tourist Attraction αIpanema, a long, arcing expanse of soft white sand and rolling waves. Ipanema has reached the top of “best beaches in the world” year after year. Bordered by a well-organized grid of shops, cafés and restaurants as well as an array of art galleries, theaters and clubs.

  Lapa Neighborhood, located in the downtown of Rio know as “Centro”. Know for its vibrant nightlife, its lined with samba and choro bars. Perfect place to meet friends and sample local cuisines. Tourist Attraction αSugarloaf Mountain, 400 meters above the mouth of Guanabara Bay. Visitors can get there via a glass- walled cable car known as a “bondinho” or “teleférico.” From there, visitors can take a second cable car up to the mountain’s summit.
