The Life of a Ladybug By Mrs. Kari Walker

Introduction The ladybug has four stages in its lifecycle. Can you name the parts of the ladybug? There are interesting behaviors that the ladybug does. More facts about ladybugs.

Behaviors of ladybugs What do adult ladybugs do as a form of defense? Fall to the ground and play dead What will a ladybug do if you squeeze it? Bite you What do ladybugs feed on during hibernation? They feed on their stored fat What do adult ladybugs do to avoid being eaten by birds? They make a chemical that smells and taste bad.
