Cases 2 technical based cases 4 Interesting findings 2 Population based screens Advantages-1 introduction Disadvantages-1 long introduction and 6 mini introductions General Need an up to date literature survey and must stick to 10-20,000 words, must discuss overall significance of the cases.

After proposal about 12 months before started writing in earnest (fear of blank paper!) Moved labs April 2003, submitted August 2003 Passed Feb 2003 Viva March 2004
