One major problem teenagers face is peer pressure. Peer pressure refers to a social pressure by a certain group on an individual. Peer pressure may create many problems amongst teenagers, such as bullying, smoking, drinking, fighting, skipping classes, and so on. One way to handle peer pressure is by talking openly to the teenager who is facing this problem at school. A troubled teenager should seek help from a teacher or someone older, someone who can understand the situation and give good guidance. Choosing the right friends is another way to overcome peer pressure. Teenagers should stay away from friends who force them to do things that are wrong. They should learn how to say “no” when they are asked to do something they know is wrong. In short, teenagers can overcome peer pressure with the help of adults. A parent, a teacher, or a counselor who is always ready to talk, can help teenagers handle peer pressure better. Moreover, staying away from bad friends also helps most teenagers to avoid the pressure.

Today only one out of five is not employed but working for himself. And where fifty years ago, "being employed" means working as a factory laborer or as a farmhand, the employee of today is increasingly a middle-class person with a substantial formal education, holding a professional or management job requiring intellectual and technical skills.
