Ms. Jordan Bio: Born and raised in Blue Springs, Mo; Wild Cats over Jaguars! I attended and graduated from Missouri Western State University with my Bachelors in Early Childhood Special Education. I was an active member of Alpha Sigma Alpha, Zeta Mu Chapter where I held multiple leadership positions including President. Our Day at a Glance: Circle Time: Pledge, Good-morning song, weather, calendar, colors/shapes/numbers/letters, dancing and movement. Table Time: Students will practice writing there name, use photo recognition, complete worksheets, work with play-dough and cutting. Gross Motor: Outdoor play, weather permitting. Classroom Jobs: Students are assigned to a daily job. Small Groups: Students are split into threes for 10 minutes focusing on curriculum. Large Groups: Students will participate in a theme related activity involving math, language, motor, social and cognitive objectives. Centers/Stations: Different areas are set up around the room for free singular or group play.

Daily Folders: Your child will be sent home with a purple folder to be assed each and every day. Items placed on the Return to School side, please be sure to return. Items on the Home side do not need to be returned. If you have a note for me or any therapist please place these in the Return side or you may write on your students Daily Report sheet. On our Daily Report sheets information regarding what, where and how your child did at school that day will be included. Please leave these in the binder as they are a part of your students cumulative portfolio. Please also refer to our weekly newsletter to see what your student will be doing at a glance. Return to School Home

Lunch: Lunch can be purchased for $2.15 per day if you do not qualify for assistance. Your student my also bring a sack lunch. If you are going to have lunch with your child or take them off campus for lunch please be sure to sign in at the office. Our monthly lunch menu will be sent home and also posted on our website. Transportation: School hours here at Liggett Trails vary according to your students program participation. Transportation accommodations will be available for every student. Early Childhood StudentsMulti- Disabled Students Monday-Thursday Monday- Friday AM- 9:35-12:35 PM- 1:10-4:10 9:00 AM- 3:00

Daily Snack: Please pack your child a healthy snack daily. Birthdays: We love birthdays but treats must be store bought and enough for the entire class. Extra Clothes: Please pack your child an extra set of clothes (winter and summer set) for emergencies. Field Trips: Volunteers are encouraged and your child should bring a sack lunch for that day. Parent-Teacher Conferences: These may be conducted in person, via , telephone, or Skype in alleviate conflicting schedules. Early Dismissals or Late Arrivals: Need parental consent via note, phone call or by coming to school. Special Occasions = Special Circumstances
